An Internet of Things (IoT) based Weather Station has been installed at NMV University, IART

NMV University, IART is proud to announce the installation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Weather Station. This advanced weather station incorporates several features to provide accurate and real-time weather information.

  1. Measurement of weather parameters: such as wind speed and wind direction, total solar radiation (TSR), rainfall, temperature, atmospheric humidity, illumination, atmospheric pressure, 5-layer soil temperature, and humidity.
  2. Real-time Data transmission which enables remote monitoring and access to weather information.
  3. Accurate and timely weather updates every 20 minutes. allowing for timely analysis and decision-making.
  4. Integration of multiple sensors to measure key weather parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, solar radiation, rainfall, temperature, humidity, illumination, atmospheric pressure, and soil temperature and humidity.
  5. Wireless connectivity, enabling seamless data transmission and remote monitoring of weather conditions.
  6. Internet connectivity allows for real-time data updates and access to weather information from anywhere.
  7. Automated data collection and reporting providing accurate and timely information for weather analysis, forecasting, and decision-making
