An Internet of Things (IoT) based Weather Station has been installed at NMV University, IART
NMV University, IART is proud to announce the installation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Weather Station. This advanced weather station incorporates several features to provide accurate and real-time weather information.
- Measurement of weather parameters: such as wind speed and wind direction, total solar radiation (TSR), rainfall, temperature, atmospheric humidity, illumination, atmospheric pressure, 5-layer soil temperature, and humidity.
- Real-time Data transmission which enables remote monitoring and access to weather information.
- Accurate and timely weather updates every 20 minutes. allowing for timely analysis and decision-making.
- Integration of multiple sensors to measure key weather parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, solar radiation, rainfall, temperature, humidity, illumination, atmospheric pressure, and soil temperature and humidity.
- Wireless connectivity, enabling seamless data transmission and remote monitoring of weather conditions.
- Internet connectivity allows for real-time data updates and access to weather information from anywhere.
- Automated data collection and reporting providing accurate and timely information for weather analysis, forecasting, and decision-making
