  1. Advanced training in economic theory, quantitative methods, statistical and econometric methods in agricultural research. Application of these tools to analyze agricultural markets, policies, and development strategies.
  2. Knowledge of agricultural markets and policies; structure and dynamics of agricultural markets, including supply and demand factors, trade, and price volatility, policies and regulations affecting agriculture, including subsidies, taxes, and trade agreements.
  3. Specialization in key areas of agricultural economics: such as agribusiness management, natural resource economics, or international trade. These specializations allow students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals.
