All India Tour for UG Final year students 2022–2026 Batch

NMV University has made a purposeful attempt to strengthen agricultural education through the All India Tour (AIT), giving students exposure to leading agricultural universities, national research institutes, private enterprises and progressive agricultural models across India. The tour enabled students to observe how classroom concepts are translated into research, innovation, enterprise development and farmer-oriented technologies.

Through visits to institutions such as the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad; College of Agriculture, Pune; Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Pune; CSIR–Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow; Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research (IISR), Lucknow; Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi; Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT), Visakhapatnam; Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Visakhapatnam; and National Institute for Research on Commercial Agriculture (NIRCA), Rajahmundry, students gained multidisciplinary exposure to agricultural education, climate services, medicinal plants, sugarcane research, vegetable science, fisheries, commercial agriculture and nursery management. Students gained multidisciplinary exposure to agricultural education, climate services, medicinal plants, sugarcane research, vegetable science, fisheries, commercial agriculture and nursery management. The inclusion of NV Eco Farm and KF Bio Plants also introduced students to eco-tourism, protected cultivation, tissue culture and commercial floriculture.

The AIT was not merely a study tour; it became a learning avenue that connected students with scientists, academicians, entrepreneurs and field professionals. It strengthened their practical understanding, broadened their career perspective and helped them to recognize the diverse opportunities available in agriculture and allied sectors.

By integrating such exposure-based learning with academic instruction, NMV University has attempted to prepare a different agricultural institution around India which is not most commonly explored by other college students. This programme gave students much more confidents and to become industry-aware agricultural graduates
