Students from our institute visited AIIRLIVAS – Advanced Institute for Integrated Research on Livestock and Animal Sciences, Salem, Asia’s largest integrated livestock institute, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. M. K. Stalin.

Under the leadership of Dr. Krishnakumar, Director, AIIRLIVAS, and with the support of expert faculty, students explored key areas including:

• Indigenous livestock breeds, piggery, and fodder production units

• Vermicomposting and medicinal plant landscapes

• Advanced irrigation systems and forage genomics

• Aquaponics and ornamental fisheries
