Martyrs’ Day was observed on 30 January 2025 at NMV Institute of Agriculture Research & Technology, NMV University, to commemorate the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and pay tribute to the freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. R. Sundaravaradarajan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, NMV University. Teaching faculty, undergraduate students, and postgraduate scholars participated in the observance by taking the Pledge for Peace and Communal Harmony, reaffirming their commitment to uphold truth, non-violence, national unity, communal harmony, constitutional values and the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi while working towards a peaceful, progressive and united India.
