Honouring the invaluable contributions of educators in shaping future generations, Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 05 September 2025 at the Institute of Agriculture and Research Technology (IART), NMV University.

The celebration commenced with a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is observed as Teachers’ Day across India. The programme was conducted in the presence of Dr. K. R. Sundaravaradarajan, Vice Chancellor, NMV University, along with faculty members and non-teaching staff of the institution.

In his inspiring address, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the pivotal role of teachers as mentors, guides, and architects of society, emphasizing their contribution in nurturing knowledge, values and leadership among students.

The celebration continued with a vibrant cultural programme organized entirely by undergraduate students under the theme “Celebrating the Architects of Society.” Students presented speeches, songs, and cultural performances dedicated to their teachers, while interactive games organized for faculty members added joy and strengthened the bond between teachers and students.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem, leaving participants with a renewed appreciation for the dedication, guidance and inspiration provided by teachers in shaping individuals and society.
